Job Description

In view of the increasing demand and regulatory emphasis on Stress Testing, it is essential to have a designated Stress Testing Team in Finance to handle various types of stress tests. The establishment of the team is to enhance the quality of stress testing with dedicated resources and expertise as well as to handle various stress tests in a consistent manner in order to improve efficiency.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

This role will form an integral part of the Country Finance Balance Sheet Management team, reporting to the Head of Stress Testing. The key responsibilities include:-

* Develop financial models for various stress tests
* Compute and analyse financial results for Capital, P&L, Balance Sheet and the relevant Risk Appetite metrics
* Collaborate with various Finance teams to gather financial data from general ledger or financial disclosure statements to form the stress test baseline
* Work with various Risk teams to ensure different types of financial impact are incorporated in the stress testing results such as operational loss, impairment, AFS reserve, RWA etc.
* Work with country finance teams to ensure the new capital requirements are incorporated in the forecasting model and stress testing results
* Work with business finance to develop the base case and stress test projections in different stress testing scenarios
* Develop input template to collect the required data from various Risk teams
* Prepare presentation slides and papers for various committees and Board's approval
* Prepare and update DOI
* Perform the necessary assessment and maintain the required documentation for ORF
* Implement Group's stress testing model, if needed
* Liaise with Group's Treasury - Capital and RRP teams in terms of understanding new reporting requirements
* Liaise with GIA upon audit of different stress tests

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants possess with Basel III BCR knowledge a definite advantage.
