Credit & Loan Support Services Officer - Middle Office

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Check completeness of account opening documentation
  • Prepare instructions to open safekeeping accounts with custodian
  • Liase with operations on the settlement of bond trades
  • Investigate and take prompt action to resolve failing transactions
  • Perform securities reconciliation against custodian reports
  • Perform monthly custody payment to custodian
  • Perform parameter maintenance in core system
  • Daily monitoring/marking-to-market of credit portfolios
  • Instigate margin calls and follow up on fulfillment of margin call
  • Timely submission of reports to respective stakeholders
  • Adhere to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance framework
  • Handle queries from internal stakeholders, external counterparties, relationship managers and relationship officers
  • Participate in on-going IT system enhancement, testing, launching & implementing of new system and new business initiatives
  • Handle ad hoc projects/initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Banking & Finance or above
  • Possess a good end user computing skills especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Meticulous and have a keen eye for details
  • Able to identify and mitigate operational risks
  • Able to multi-task and can adapt to changes
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Good team player
