Exciting 6 month senior FD role available. Responsibility for team management, controlling all financial issues and strategic planning of the business. Must be fluent in English with strong command of French or German

Responsible for steering and controlling all financial issues, and for formulating robust finance plans to secure business plans as well as for avoiding bad debts and controlling costs in compliance with policies. Also ensuring that all J-Sox relevant controls are executed and necessary changes implemented.


  • Participate in the strategic planning of the business by providing department specific information and associated analysis
  • Manage the cooperation and communication with business partners / public authorities and/or dealers in the area of responsibility
  • Develop annual plan within the agreed strategy and ensure the efficient implementation of the daily business in the area of responsibility
  • Select, manage, motivate and develop a team of individuals and/or manage external consultants
  • Manage large strategic functional projects and initiatives with an internal and external focus to support business unit activity
  • Oversee the identification of business risks and control gaps as well as ensure the de­velopment and implementation of a robust internal control environment
  • Provide input into an appropriate and ambitious strategy taking any current and future challenges into consideration
  • Oversee the budget planning process for the business and the development of associat­ed business cases
  • Oversee the performance of financial in-depth analyses such as turnover, profit and/or pricing analyses, price release
  • Oversee and monitor progress against budget as well as ensure development and im­plementation of corrective measures, if necessary
  • Oversee implementation of financial audits to minimise risk and improve performance of the organisation's financial processes and systems in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and standards
  • Oversee the maintenance of all accounts in accordance with accounting policies, princi­ples and practices
  • Oversee an expert functional support service by ensuring the delivery of all kind of re­ports (financial, sales and/or industry) as well as by providing financial advice to other business units
  • Oversee external business contacts including - if applicable - their selection, termina­tion and management as well as the monitoring of their effectiveness
  • Ensure cooperation with internal interfaces to secure shared planning and mutual understanding

  • Educational level: University or Business school Degree or equivalent with an accounting and/or financial specialization
  • Experience (area & duration): solid experience in the financial field and managing a team
  • Technical Skills / Specific Knowledge: J-Sox, IFRS, SAP
  • Languages: Fluent in English and French or German with a good command of the other
  • language (French or German)
