Group Capital Regulatory Reporting, along with Group Liquidity Regulatory Reporting and Group Regulatory Reporting Projects is part of the Group Regulatory Reporting function in Group Finance and has core responsibilities for: * Capital regulatory reporting for the group and solo consolidations including COREP Own Funds and Large Exposures, legacy FSA IRR returns, Leverage etc. * External Regulatory Disclosure including Pillar 3, GSIB and the relevant parts of the Annual Report, Interim Management Statements and Interim announcements * Capital Solutions including rapid development, internal assessment of new regulations and Quantitative Impact Studies * Ownership of work streams for stress testing, internal management reporting, forecasting, regulatory liaison, industry group participation etc. The role of Manager, Pillar 3 is to support the implementation of new Pillar 3 requirements for YE 2016 and 2017 and the BAU runs of Pillar 3.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Support delivery of new Pillar 3 requirements (BCBS and EBA requirements) * Support tactical BAU run of Pillar 3 for YE 2017 and other periods as needed * Manage delivery of key reporting and ad-hoc data requests including: o Basel QIS requests o PRA queries o Industry data requests Ensuring adherence to the relevant sections of the Prudential Compliance Framework (Group Compliance) and Operational Risk Framework (Group Operational Risk) * Develop tactical solutions in short time-frames to solve urgent problems in BAU reporting and controls * Interpretation and guidance to global stakeholders and Head Office on PRA and EBA rules under Basel III/CRD IV and new rules under discussion/consultation. * Contribute to the Bank's response to relevant Discussion and Consultation Papers and Technical Standards on regulatory developments and changes from the Basel Committee, PRA, EBA and others. * Participate in industry forums (e.g. BBA) on regulatory developments, as required. * Contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory projects, in particular Pillar 3 and revisions to credit risk RWA calculations * Supporting Group Finance initiatives including business efficiency (e.g. faster close) and improvement of the control environment Relationships: Internal * SIM/BCRS Operations team in Financial Services Support Centre, Chennai * Group Financial Reporting * Business Finance and Country Finance teams in country * Front Office * Investor Relations/Group Corporate Affairs * Global Risk Functions including Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk * Group Treasury * Group Taxation * Group Internal Audit * Global Process Management team, Singapore External * BBA and other industry groups on developments in regulatory reporting * PRA/EBA and other regulators on developments in regulatory reporting Contributes to: * Pillar 3 and external regulatory disclosures * Internal reporting packs * Consultation responses * Industry working groups Attributes Required: * Communicator - communicate financial and regulatory information. * Relator - utilise network to obtain information. * Technical - technical aptitude, investigating and understanding regulatory reporting rules * Control environment - understanding of operating in a highly controlled enviroment * Focus - remain focused on the key deliverables. * Numeracy/analytical - prepare and analyse financial and regulatory information and report conclusions. * Accuracy - prepare and present information accurately. * Timeliness- meet tight deadlines maintaining highest quality standards. * Teamwork - contribute to the team effort and share the workload. * Intellectual - demonstrate understanding of financial and regulatory matters. * Creative - recommend solutions on financial and regulatory issues. * Change - adapt to changing reporting requirements and priorities

Qualifications and Skills

* Qualified Accountant with experience in financial services especially in regulatory reporting, particularly COREP and IRR reporting of Capital, RWA, Large Exposures and Leverage reporting. * Expert Prudential Regulatory knowledge - particularly existing and revised Pillar 3 requirements and existing and proposed credit risk RWA calculations * Experience in completing recent Basel 3 QIS and Additional QIS on revised credit risk capital requirements * Experience in interpretation and design of tactical reporting solutions (in Excel or other) in order to meet ad-hoc reporting requests and ability to manipulate large data sets. * Good product knowledge, especially trading book products * Experience of working under pressure to produce high quality reporting in a highly controlled environment * Experience of financial and regulatory reporting within banking. * Intermediate-advanced Excel and Access user. * Experience of supporting Regulatory Change initiatives and projects * (Preferred) SQL, Moody's Fermat/RAY, Hyperion HFM
