This reputable organisation has an immediate start, permanent opportunity for an experienced Linux Security Administrator.
Your new role
This is a varied Linux and Security Administrator role, where the successful candidate will have proven experience working in a Windows/Linux and virtualised environment. You must demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to work across a variety of platforms. You will be part of an enthusiastic and hardworking team who build long term relationships, demonstrate innovation and strive to achieve successful outcomes for the organisation. Security experience is also desired to implement outcomes in line with the roadmap from an external audit.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience working with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy. Skills within mobile device management, back up and antivirus technologies will be viewed upon favourably. Your knowledge of networks and experience with Cisco switches and wireless access points will be an advantage. You must demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to understand technical issues. This role is well suited to a professional, adaptable and forward-thinking individual who demonstrates a proven ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
