Our client is a large, well-known non-for-profit organisation based just five kilometres from the Perth CBD. They are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team and hit the ground running!
Your new role
To efficiently, effectively and in timely manner, deliver payroll services including the processing of wages and salaries for staff each pay period, and arrange timely and secure distribution of pay to staff including superannuation, workers compensation and salary sacrifice arrangements.
What you'll need to succeed
The ability to:
- Process allocation of employees / payrolls from end-to-end within defined timescales
- Assist colleagues with payroll processing as and when necessary
- Resolution of payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Comply with audit requirements
- Ensure new starters, terminations and maintenance is completed and checked for allocation of employees / payrolls
- Assist colleagues with checking other employees / payrolls
- Assist with financial reconciliation, month end and year-end tasks as directed
- Ensure all documentation is filed as per departmental guidelines
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure needs are identified and met
- Other duties as directed from time to time
- PayGlobal experience is advantageous
