Linux Engineer - Kubernetes & Bare-Metal Infrastructure

A leading trading firm is hiring a Linux Engineer into its global infrastructure team. You'll help build out an on-prem Kubernetes platform while keeping a large, performance-critical Linux estate running at its best.

The role

Build and operate Kubernetes on bare metal in the firm's own data centres
Own the Linux fleet: provisioning, lifecycle and performance tuning
Automate through infrastructure as code, GitOps and CI/CD
Improve reliability, observability and security, and share on-call

About you

Strong production Linux engineering background
Hands-on experience running Kubernetes on-prem, not just managed cloud
Solid networking fundamentals and a knack for deep performance troubleshooting
Calm in an incident, with a habit of fixing root causes
Low-latency or performance-sensitive experience is a plus

For people with strong experience, relocation and visa support are available.

Leading total compensation, a performance-based bonus, a global team, ongoing training and excellent perks.
