Your new companyThis is a hands-on, generalist HR role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the business, supporting leaders with day-to-day people matters, and contributing to broader people initiatives in a collaborative team environment. Reporting to a People & Culture leader, you will provide pragmatic advice and support across the full employee life cycle. Working closely with leaders and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure people's practices are applied consistently, compliantly, and in line with organisational values. This role includes regular engagement with operational sites and offers exposure across employee relations, WHS, return-to-work, and people projects.
Your new role

• Provide generalist HR advice and support to leaders and employees
• Support and manage employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, grievances and absence management
• Coach leaders on people policies, procedures and best-practice people management
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee movements and exit processes
• Assist with WHS and return-to-work coordination, including suitable duties plans
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems data
• Contribute to P&C projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Travel to operational sites as required to support leaders and teams
  
  What you'll need to succeed
• To be successful, you will bring experience in a similar HR Advisor or People & Culture role, ideally within a complex or multi-site environment. You are confident in engaging with a diverse workforce, able to manage competing priorities, and known for your practical, solutions-focused approach.

You will also demonstrate:

• Experience in a generalist HR advisory capacity
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments
• Confidence supporting employee relations matters end-to-end
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using HR systems and managing HR data
• Relevant HR qualifications and/or equivalent practical experience
