The Senior Governance and Frameworks Manager - Enterprise Resilience will play a key role in shaping and implementing ASX's enterprise-wide Operational Resilience Framework, Policy and supporting standards. Working with senior leaders across ASX, the role translates regulatory expectations into clear, proportionate and practical requirements that strengthen the resilience of ASX's critical financial market services.
Your Team:
The Enterprise Resilience Centre of Excellence is building ASX's enterprise-wide resilience capability at a significant point in its evolution. This role offers the opportunity to shape how ASX identifies, governs and strengthens the resilience of its critical financial market services, working with senior leaders across business, technology, operations and risk
Your responsibilities:
- Design, build and implement the Enterprise Resilience Framework, defining principles, taxonomy, and standards for identifying and mapping critical services.
- Embed alignment to ASIC MIRs, RBA FSS, the principles of APRA CPS 230, and the SOCI act ensuring ASX's approach meets or exceeds regulatory expectations.
- Support enterprise governance and oversight of operational resilience, including monitoring implementation, preparing executive reporting, coordinating decisions and actions, and establishing quality-assurance routines to support consistent application and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Technology Resilience, Enterprise Risk, and Operations teams to ensure integration with business continuity, service management, and recovery planning.
- Support the enterprise-wide implementation of a practical, integrated Operational Resilience Framework, Policy and supporting standards, working with senior leaders to translate regulatory expectations into clear business requirements.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, impact tolerances and metrics (KRIs/KPIs) to monitor framework adoption, resilience performance, and impact tolerances.
- Maintain and lead the lifecycle of service for the resilience framework: identification > assessment > monitoring > improvement.
Your experience and qualifications
Must have:
- 10+ years' experience in operational resilience, business continuity or operational risk in a financial-services or market-infrastructure environment.
- Strong understanding of operational resilience and critical operations concepts, with experience interpreting and applying relevant regulatory or industry requirements. Exposure to CPS 230, ASIC MIRs or RBA FSS would be highly regarded.
- Proven experience designing, building and maintaining criticality, resilience or other enterprise-level frameworks, policies and standards.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise governance and oversight, including implementation monitoring, executive-level reporting, and coordination of decisions and actions across business, risk and technology stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across executive, technology, and risk domains.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, risk management, or a related discipline.
Nice to have:
- Experience working within or alongside financial market infrastructure (exchange, clearing house, or CCP).
- Familiarity with resilience testing, scenario analysis, and impact-tolerance setting.
- Exposure to data architecture or configuration of ServiceNow resilience modules.
- Define and maintain the enterprise data model for critical operations, capturing dependencies across people, process, technology, vendors, and facilities.
- Knowledge of process mapping and dependency modelling tools (ServiceNow, Visio, or equivalent).
- Relevant professional qualifications or industry certifications would be highly regarded.
