DB Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple trading hubs and tech centres. We have a strong focus on promoting technical excellence - our engineers work at the forefront of financial services innovation using cutting-edge technologies.
Our Berlin location is our most recent addition to our global network of tech centres and growing strongly. We are committed to building a diverse workforce and to creating excellent opportunities for talented engineers and technologists. Our tech teams work agile in close coordination with our business units, jointly creating #GlobalHausbank solutions from our home market.
Together with the team you will work on a full life cycle of a product, from architecture design to implementation and level 3 production support. Primary focus will be on user interfaces and integrations with backend services.

Your key responsibilities
- Working on business and functional requirements, technical analysis and design. Contributing to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
- Prototyping new features, meeting business needs and solving challenging technical problems
- Reviewing other team member's code and mentoring junior developers
- Maintaining visual guidelines and consistency throughout the app
- Collaborating with QA team on test automation
- Good math and strong knowledge of algorithms and complexity
- Well-founded experience with core Java
- Experience with ESNext, TypeScript with any modern front-end framework: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular
- Basic knowledge of browser APIs (Storage, Workers, Websockets, etc), basic understanding of web security principles, basic experience with SQL and non-SQL databases, basic knowledge of Linux
- Good written and spoken English, German as a plus
