We are seeking for a Lead Engineer (m/f/x) for our API Platforms and Integration Services team in the Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) strategy. In this role, you will serve as a technical lead for delivery pods and provide technical direction to the delivery team. You will be responsible for reviewing architecture, designs, and quality, promoting best practices, and making strategic design decisions. Your goal is to simplify architectures, reduce technical debt, and drive disruptive engineering approaches as leader and hands-on engineer.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement automation testing frameworks and scripts for API systems.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of APIs.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, techniques, and processes for continuous improvement of API quality control processes.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in API testing and quality control.
• Contribute to the development of testing and quality control processes and policies for the organization.

Your skills and experiences

• Demonstrable experience in the design and best practice standards setting for API Platforms.
• Experience in Automated API Governance (e.g., API Style Guides and rules automation using open-source libraries such as Spectral, etc)
• API technologies and security: REST, OAuth, JWT, PKI, SSL.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming, and design patterns, using JAVA.
• Experience with Java Rest API frameworks, like Spring boot.
