1. Business Setup & Development

1. Lead the establishment and development of the Credit Derivatives trading business in Asia, aligned with the global strategy.
2. Define and execute a roadmap to build a fully operational and scalable trading platform in the region.

2. Trading Infrastructure & Operational Framework

1. Drive the implementation of pricing tools, booking systems, market data, risk monitoring and reporting capabilities.
2. Coordinate with Technology, Operations, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end trading capabilities and robust operational processes.

3. Risk Management & Governance

1. Work with Risk, Compliance and relevant stakeholders to establish appropriate trading limits, risk management frameworks and governance processes.
2. Develop hedging capabilities and ensure alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements.

4. Client Franchise & Business Origination

1. Build relationships with institutional clients, interbank counterparties and key market participants across Asia.
2. Partner with Sales and Structuring to identify business opportunities and develop the regional Credit Derivatives franchise.

5. Trading & Product Capabilities

1. Coordinate with Quants, Structuring and global trading teams to implement pricing models and develop new product capabilities.
2. Support trading activity, pricing and risk management during the initial development phase.

6. Team Development & Scalability

1. Establish the infrastructure, processes and commercial relationships required for a sustainable local trading business.
2. Prepare the platform for the onboarding of a local Trader Associate within approximately 12 months, enabling independent day-to-day trading and risk management within the established framework.

First-Year Objective

1. Establish a fully operational, risk-controlled and commercially viable Credit Derivatives trading platform in Asia, with the systems, governance, market access and client relationships required to support the expansion of the local trading team.

1. University Graduate, major in a numerical or engineering subject preferred
2. 10-15 years experience in structured credit.

1. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and derive actionable insights.
2. Solid understanding of derivatives and securities financing documentation and related transaction processes.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and senior stakeholders across different regions.
4. Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to guide and influence team members within a matrix reporting structure.
5. Sound commercial judgment and strong understanding of financial markets, client needs, and regulatory requirements.
