Job Description
As a Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements for assigned funds.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Managing daily fund operations, including reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Preparing periodic reports for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Assisting in the calculation of net asset values (NAVs) for investment funds.
- Coordinating with auditors for annual audits and addressing audit queries.
- Collaborating with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Providing support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
A successful Fund Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- 3 years of minimum USD Fund Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and fund administration processes.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
