You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and scalable operation of the credit investment platform, serving as a key enabler of the firm's continued growth and operational excellence. Working closely with stakeholders, you will help strengthen operational infrastructure, support portfolio expansion, and uphold institutional-grade standards across both asset management and insurance-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee end-to-end operational processes across credit investment strategies, including trade lifecycle management, settlement, valuation, and reconciliation
2. Coordinate with front office, custodians, administrators, counterparties, and trustees to ensure seamless execution and reporting
3. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of NAV calculations and portfolio reports
4. Establish, maintain, and enhance operational policies, procedures, and internal controls
5. Identify operational risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures
6. Support internal audits, external audits, regulatory reviews, and operational due diligence exercises
7. Manage operational requirements for insurance-linked mandates or insurance company clients
8. Ensure alignment with insurance asset management guidelines, reporting standards, and documentation requirements
9. Act as a key operational point of contact for insurance stakeholders
10. Drive process improvements through automation, workflow optimization, and system enhancements
11. Work with internal technology teams and external vendors to ensure system stability, scalability, and data accuracy
12. Participate in or lead systems implementations and operational transformation initiatives
13. Partner closely with senior management, investment professionals, and control functions
14. Coordinate effectively with finance, compliance, legal, and external service providers
15. Provide guidance and oversight to junior operations staff, where applicable

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of relevant operations experience within SFC-licensed corporations and/or Insurance Authority regulated entities
2. Prior experience in virtual asset regulatory uplift initiatives, governance frameworks, risk management, compliance programmes, or business expansion projects is highly preferred
3. Candidates holding an Insurance Authority licence, or with previous experience performing a licensed role within an Insurance Authority regulated environment, will be viewed favourably
4. Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements and experience operating within regulated financial services environments
5. Strong understanding of credit products, including loans, structured credit, or fixed income instruments
6. Proven experience in investment operations, fund administration, custody, reconciliation, and reporting
7. Familiarity with insurance balance sheet management or insurance-related investment mandates preferred
8. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, and a solutions-driven mindset
9. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
10. Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
