Their investment platform offers innovative, core and specialized alpha-oriented solutions across asset allocation, equities, fixed income, private equity and hedge funds. Currently they are looking for a seasoned Accounting and Finance Director to lead their Finance function.
Job description
- Engage in strategic planning and analytics for Asia ex Japan. Assist in exploring and evaluating strategic opportunities in Asia ex Japan
- Manage Audit and Internal Audit processes for funds and corporate entities. Review statutory accounts for group companies and funds, and to ensure timely delivery of required financial statements
- Manage cash flow forecast, FRR reporting for regulatory purposes
- Manage satellite offices’ financial reporting in Asia
- Manage the monthly delivery of management reporting package, analytics of variances, and annual budgeting review
- Manage MPF funds and Private Equity funds reporting, quarterly capital account statements, call & distribution notices, periodical and ad hoc investor enquiries
- Oversee day-to-day finance operation of funds and corporate entities such as expense payments process
- Build and improve a Finance team with the development of staff and institutionalized processes in mind
- Chair Risk Committee and coordinate risk analytical review
Job requirements
- An experienced finance professional with proven track record in Accounting and Finance
- Strong knowledge of Asset Management business particularly various distribution channels, fund structure and reporting practices, and Private Equity/Hedge fund operations
- Strong regulatory knowledge and experience including but not limited to liquid capital rules, capital requirements, related party transaction requirements, currency controls
- Strong competence in the technical aspects of finance and accounting including US GAAP/IFRS, accounting practices and procedures, regulatory reporting requirements
