The Liquidity Risk, Associate Director is responsible for monitoring and managing the liquidity risk across various departments, including Treasury, FICC, and EQD. This role supports the company's risk management framework through regular reporting and analysis tasks. Role Overview
The Associate Director will oversee daily liquidity risk monitoring, ensuring compliance with risk limits such as LCR, NSFR, and gap analysis. The role involves producing regular and ad-hoc risk reports, conducting stress testing and scenario analysis, and liaising with front office teams to understand new business models or products. The candidate will also contribute to project work, including the development of web-based risk dashboards in coordination with the IT team. Success in this role depends on effectively managing risk measures and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions.
Key Skills & Experience
- Monitor liquidity risk and manage risk limits, including LCR, NSFR, and gap analysis
- Produce risk reports on a daily, monthly, and ad-hoc basis
- Perform risk analysis such as stress testing and scenario analysis
- Liaise closely with front office teams to understand business models and new risks
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop web-based risk reports and dashboards
- Demonstrate proficiency in VBA and SQL database management software
- Possess a relevant degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Have relevant experience in liquidity risk management
- Display good knowledge of market risk measures like LCR and NSFR
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work effectively under pressure
- Command fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
