Role Overview
- Lead Transfer Agent & Securities Pricing Teams to ensure service pledge.
- Ensure outstanding issues and problems on late and failed settlement and shareholder services are rectified effectively.
- Review report delivery and activities of accounts statistics
- Monitor vendors, custodians and fund managers
- Enhance operational efficiency via automation or process streamlining to increase straight through rate and to minimize failed trades rates
- Authorize trades, FX, cash and unit trust transactions
- Minimize documentation, fiduciary, credit and operational risks
- Ensure external audit requirements for unit trust, MPF master trusts and ORSO schemes are properly prepared for auditors and sufficient risk management procedures and documentation are in place.
- Work with Department Head to implement new policies and procedures and reports issues/problems surfaced to department head.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in fund management or related industry
- Professional qualification in Accountancy.
- Knowledge of MPF Regulation, Code on Unit Trust and Mutual Funds, SFC Code of Conduct, AEOI KYC AML procedures, FATCA and CRS regulation and reporting procedures.
- Familiar with SUN, PORTIA, Performa, ERPex or other similar systems.
