Senior Treasury Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Treasury Manager to join the Treasury team of a leading financial institution. The role focuses on balance sheet optimisation, with involvement in APAC entities and senior-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor movements in the balance sheet structure and recommend strategies that balance risk and return


• Work with APAC entities to review funding pool performance and support them in addressing funding and liquidity matters


• Lead and coordinate senior debt issuance activities


• Prepare presentation materials for ALCO and IRC meetings


• Stay updated on financial market developments and support ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting or a related discipline


• Professional qualification such as TMA, CFA or FRM preferred


• Minimum 10 years of experience in treasury, ALM or risk management; experience in a sizable bank is an advantage


• Solid knowledge of Basel III and the HKMA interest rate risk and liquidity risk management frameworks


• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills


• Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English


• Able to work under pressure and take initiative
