Join a leading life insurance company to support a large-scale compensation transformation programme. Working closely with Distribution, Operations and Technology teams. Candidates should have 2-5+ years of BA experience within the insurance industry. Experience in compensation, commission or distribution-related projects is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across Distribution, Agency, Brokerage, Operations, and IT teams
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and other project documentation
- Support compensation transformation initiatives, including commission, incentive, and remuneration-related system enhancements
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business users and technical teams
- Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production rollout activities
- Work closely with vendors and development teams to ensure requirements are delivered accurately
- Support project governance, status tracking, and stakeholder communications
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Life insurance industry experience is required
- Hands-on experience in compensation, commission, remuneration, incentive, or agency distribution-related projects
- Strong requirements gathering and business documentation skills
- Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, business process flows, and test cases
- Familiarity with SDLC and project delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
Preferred Background
- Experience working with Agency Distribution, Brokerage Distribution, Operations, or Compensation teams
- Knowledge of agent commission structures, incentive schemes, remuneration models, and compensation calculations
- Exposure to digital transformation or system implementation projects
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Insurance system knowledge is an advantage
Nice to Have
- eBao system knowledge or implementation experience
- Experience with policy administration, agency management, or commission management platforms
- CAPM, PMP, CBAP, or other relevant certifications
