Our client are a well-established business in the events industry who are looking for an accounting technician to join their team.




The Role - Accounting Technician



This role is a general role within a busy Finance function of a growing organisation, some of the duties involve:

• All areas of managing creditors


• Debtor management


• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts with analysis of results and commentary


• Preparation of key metrics and automating reporting process


• Statutory Returns - VAT, etc.


• Manage bank accounts


• Management of overheads and cost control


• Assist with preparation and filing of statutory accounts and other statutory returns


• Ad-hoc projects

Candidate Profile



The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experience:

• Relevant experience in a broad role in a Finance team


• Highly analytical


• Ability to work to tight deadlines


• Strong IT skills


• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator


• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
