A global technology business require an immediately available senior accounting professional to assist in a roll-out of new financial system for a 6 month assignment in Dublin. You will provide accounting support ensuring best practice on a global scale
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Finance Team in the months now the system has gone live
- Supporting the project team with the heavy lifting of the requirements
- Migration splitting down to statutory reporting
- Review modifications required for the correct reporting of transactional currency adjustments
- Collaborate with peers to ensure reporting processes operate as expected
- Proactively communicate project risks and issues
- Documentation of new processes
- Flexibility to take on ad hoc tasks as needed
Requirements
- ACA Qualified Accountant
- Good working knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP
- A proven track record of supporting system integration
- A qualified accountant, immediately available
- Experience working in a global environment with significant foreign currency exposure, multi-entity and multi-currency exposure is essential
- Ability to review and validate financial and accounting information
