Your key responsibilities
• Answer client enquiries about MSCI Risk products and methodology.
• Provide analytics support, and work closely with coverage team to help drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenues
• Work with colleagues in Shanghai and Tokyo to ensure 8:00AM-5:00PM Japan local support coverage on Japanese business days, and with global client service team in other offices to ensure 24 x 5 support coverage
• Enhance client relationships through proactive follow up on issues raised by clients
• Maintain relationships by ensuring relevant product and model information is shared with clients
• Provide client feedback to the Marketing, Product Management, Research and Data teams
• Client visits is on an as-needed basis

Your skills and experience that will help you excel
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English, CFA is preferred
• A minimal of 3+ years relevant experience with undergraduate degree or 1+ years with graduate degree at a top university/college is required
• Past experience in client facing capacity and working with institutional clients is required
• Ability to articulate complicated concepts or methodologies verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines
• Track record of excelling in an environment of ambiguity by quickly adapting behavior and work methods to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
• Ability to develop value-added contributions to both internal and external clients
• Deep understanding of international financial institutions and global financial markets. Demonstrated understanding of modern portfolio theory
