Customer Consulting Team design, build & implement customer centric solutions. We bring the expertise in customer-focus, market, domain, technology, data, and project management, working closely with solution sellers, product managers and other subject matter authorities in-order to craft and build commercially viable solutions and services for customers.

Business Consultant - Analytics will be driven, resourceful and subject matter authority in quantitative analytics. The person will demonstrate the art of collaboration and influence while pushing the innovation envelope. They will exhibit & communicate the behaviours of a modern design thinking driven organization that is agile and most importantly, customer & market obsessed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the foremost authority in Analytics - to be able to interact with customers on various analytics capabilities such as Data Analytics, Risk Analytics, Quant Analytics etc...
  • Collaborate within the team and outside the team, working with the best talent, create viable solutions that are customer centric, thoroughly considering LSEG's full range of offerings.
  • Present to internal and external audiences, large and small, to showcase the solution and be an ambassador.
  • Establish the relationship with key partners within the team and across different teams to align on team and product strategy, understand and process the requirements and communicate goals efficiently.
  • Proactively and deliberately conduct and contribute to ideation exercises through which the team can generate future opportunities.
  • Some of the key day to day responsibilities include, but not limited, as given below:
  • Requirements clarification, specification, and documentation
  • Solution technical design
  • Technical customer presentations
  • Proof of Concept delivery including development/integration work
  • Product/Solution demonstrations
  • Coordination with developers/third parties
  • Respond quickly to customer needs, working with urgency to propose creative solutions that deliver demonstrable value.
  • Coordinating RFP and RFI responses/engagements
  • Act as an advocate for customer needs to the business and product teams.
  • Managing change control strictly, avoiding scope creep and mismatched expectation.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of financial technology solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of Arbitrage pricing theory and its applications
  • Knowledge of derivative securities pricing using various methods like risk-neutral pricing,
  • Monte Carlo, finite differences, binomial trees
  • Theoretical understanding of various pricing models in Interest Rate, Equity, FX and
Commodity asset classes
  • Thorough understanding of Stochastic Calculus and Stochastic Processes in Finance
  • Understanding of portfolio optimization and risk management techniques
  • Thorough understanding of various financial econometric models spanning from
univariate to multivariate time series models.
  • Understanding of Statistical modeling and inference techniques
  • Ability to communicate the basic idea behind any financial model (plain vanilla to exotic) in
simple terms
  • Practical understanding of Model validation techniques - Frequentist and Bayesian
  • Sound knowledge of various Implied Volatility modeling techniques in Interest Rate,
Equity, FX and Commodity derivatives.
  • Ability to quickly value any payoff using back of the envelope computations.
  • Ability to back-test any strategy on an individual security or a portfolio of securities
  • Expert programming skills in one of the functional programming languages, i.e. Python, R, Matlab
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and VBA
  • Working knowledge of at least one relational database

Position Summary

The role of the Account Manager maintains deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. By collaborating with internal partners, Account Manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solution. The position will manage a defined book of business aligned by customer segment within a geography and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals. You will also open up larger solution opportunities and introduce Solution and Proposition Sales.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Manages, retains and grows revenue, responsible for new business development and new sales
  • Establishes strong, long-term customer relationships and cultivates new business opportunities
  • Collaborates with account team and/or other business units where required and has oversight of all account activities
  • Responsible for forecasting, keeps management in touch with business development activities in a timely fashion, gathers intelligence on competitor activity, and gives feedback to other internal partners
  • Acts as point of contact for the client, provides solution path to and from Service and attends to customer issues promptly as appropriate
  • Tracks customer activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities
  • Identify and work with the sales specialist team to provide information on Refinitiv solutions
  • Maintains up to date product knowledge on all products and solutions
  • Demonstrates skills in managing and handling sales across accounts and understanding the company's product offering
  • Drives overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts
  • Ad hoc sales-related duties, as required
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Strong understanding of bank customers and their business model and workflows
  • Relationship building skills
  • Strong Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling) and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to develop and execute a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency
  • Problem solving-ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs
  • Excellent Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
  • Ability to collaborate with account team
  • Significant work experience in applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflow required
  • Proven account management, sales or marketing experience in a customer facing environment required
  • Customer relationship management required throughout all levels within an organization
