The F&A Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for APAC employees relating to, Payroll, Benefit, Mobility, Individual Tax and Invoicing queries

• Understand the current data flow and various challenges faced in APAC offices in the above mentioned areas and work on process improvement in collaboration with global Finance and HR members

• Coordinate international payroll processing with external vendors who process final payroll and the Global Payroll team based in Boston

• Undertake various government and regulatory related documentation and filing tasks in APAC locations (in English and/or Japanese)

• Work closely with Payroll Analysts, Global Mobility, and Tax Departments to ensure proper treatment of employees on global mobility assignments

• Liaise effectively with external payroll vendors and Tax department in case of individual tax related queries

• Act as the local liaison with APAC countries' year-end reporting in collaboration with the global Payroll team and local payroll vendors

• Provide project support and assist Finance and HR team members on an as needed basis on their reporting and analytical needs

• Provide support on HRIS system (I.e. Workday) enhancement projects for APAC region when required


The Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years' working experience in a global organization. They must also have the following qualifications:

• Prior experience and some knowledge in Payroll, Benefit, Individual Tax, and/or Mobility Programs in Asia Pacific

• Strong project management skills to develop project plans, scope and ensure execution and delivery

• Proven ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment

• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Adopt an issue-resolution and process improvement mindset

• Customer service orientation and ability to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable working in an environment that has seasonal peaks and calendar year-end deliverables

• Able to be flexible and self-directed

• Business level Japanese and English language skills. Chinese language skills is considered a plus

• Experience with HRIS-related systems such as Workday is desirable

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• University degree is required
