We are a looking for an HR Manager to drive our operations and people business partnering in Tokyo! Our People Function is a truly global and diverse to enable business growth: you will have opportunities to drive collaboration with wider HR teams in across the globe, be part of global projects, while partnering with local business. How You'll be Successful
  • Be a subject-matter-expert in overall HR topics, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, HR process, local regulations, and more
  • Ensure excellent HR service delivery and provide solutions to problems
  • Manage complex employee relations cases for smooth resolutions
  • Play as a business partner to People Leaders in Japan and overseas and make recommendations to support business agenda
  • Lead and develop HR Operations team member(s) and their performance for continuous delivery excellence
  • Reviews and guides on wider HR activities or initiatives generated by global groups. Liaising with these groups to ensure they are aware of business requirements
  • Ensuring a consistent approach in HR activities and compliance with global policies and legal requirements whilst adhering to local statutory requirements under employment legislation
  • Participate in global projects and provide local verification and inputs, while ensuring alignment with LSEG's global standards
  • Providing direction for the business in all matters associated with staff and will coach People Leaders to enhance individual and team capability in areas of HR operations activity, such as the annual HR cycle
  • Managing employee queries on ServiceNow

Who You Are
  • 10 years+ experience in HR Operations and/or HR Business Partnering
  • Profound knowledge in local HR operations practices, labor relations, regulations
  • Business acumen and business partnering skills
  • Attention to details
  • Near native level proficiency in Japanese and business level English
  • Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Adaptability to changes and flexibility to manage multiple projects and tasks in line with business priorities
  • Excellent communication skills to build a positive relationship with people leaders and employees
