We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated individual to be part of our Benefits and Wellness team at Goldman Sachs and focus on developing and managing our benefits and wellness programs in Japan and the APAC region.

The Benefits and Wellness team provides high value benefits packages across 14 locations with a focus on engagement, innovation, education and local compliance. We work closely with vendor partners and expert advisors to provide a high-quality offering to employees.
The ideal candidate will leverage their substantial benefits expertise to design and deliver comprehensive benefits programs, working with other internal groups (e.g., Legal, Tax, Finance, and the Vendor Management Office) to deliver a best-in-class programs. You will also be partnering with global counterparts in Americas, EMEA and India as well as colleagues across the HCM function to develop and implement regional and global policies and initiatives.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL - Manage Japan-specific benefits and wellness programs and act as an expert advisor to our people on specific benefits and wellness related matters. There may also be a requirement to manage regional programs
- Partner with regional and global counterparts to deliver coordinated services to our people
- Be the firm's risk manager as relates to benefits and wellness activities and provide strategic advice to mitigate and manage risks
- Be an advocate for inclusive-benefits and drive innovation on this front
- Project manage and drive development and flawless implementation of new and existing benefits and wellness programs
- Innovate and oversee benefits and wellness program communications and events strategy to drive engagement and efficiencies
- Manage, liaise and cultivate relationships with the team, key vendors and stakeholders ensuring effective delivery of our services
- Stay abreast of market development, trends, best practices and regulatory changes and advise on its implications towards our strategy through internal and external benchmarking
- Engage firm's branding externally through employer awards participation and being a firm advocate of our programs
- Manage program budget, payroll, operations and financial reporting requirements in partnership with internal groups and external vendors on a monthly and annual basis
- Define, track and analyze key metrics, monitoring success of initiatives, optimizing the approach and reporting to key stakeholders to support program strategy development
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles such as benefits, wellness, compensation or mobility
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese

- Communication - Excellent communication skills (written and oral in both English and Japanese) and interpersonal relationship management skills with an ability to lead meetings, develop print and online communications, and present to key stakeholders and employees where required
- Problem Solving - Ability to identify an issue, apply judgement to the situation to inform relevant stakeholders and proactively work towards a resolution
- Teamwork - Function as part of a team in a fast-paced environment that demands energy, creativity, and collaboration
