本ポジションは,マニュライフ• ジャパンに新設されたジャパン• データ• オフィス• チームで働くBIエンジニアとなります.日本データオフィスのBIエンジニアは,様々なビジネスユニットと密接に連携し,ビジネス上の意思決定を強化するためのBIレポート/ダッシュボードの開発や,ビジネス効率を高めるためのデータ抽出/パイプラインの開発を行います.また,ローカルデータマートの管理• 強化もこのポジションの責任です.マニュライフ日本におけるデータの民主化をリードし加速させます.
日本データオフィスは,地域のADOチームと緊密に連携し,Datalakeおよびその他のデータプラットフォームのサポートと安定稼働を確保します.また,アドバンスド• アナリティクス• チームや他のビジネスユニットのデータ活用を支援します.また,様々なプロジェクトのITシステム開発において,データアーキテクチャやデータフローの設計をリードします.長期的には,事業部門と協力してデータ• ガバナンス• プロセスと体制を確立する.

職務内容:
  • 複数の主要ステークホルダーをサポートし,データ駆動型アプローチに基づく洞察を提供するために,部門横断的に働く.
  • 様々なビジネス部門と連携し,BIのビジネス要件を策定する.
  • ビジネス要件を満たすデータセットを特定し,PowerBIレポートとダッシュボードを構築する.
  • データエンジニアとデータマート/データレイクを設計,開発,管理し,データの品質と正確性を確保する.
  • ビジネスニーズを満たすデータパイプラインとデータ抽出の開発と管理.
  • データの民主化を実現するためのデータ基盤の構築をリードする.
  • 日本データオフィスの一員として,地域のADOチームと連携し,データプラットフォームとフレームワークをサポートする.
  • データプラットフォーム周りのデータアーキテクチャとデータフローの設計.
  • ビジネスユーザーからの様々なデータ依頼要件をサポートし,コンサルティングする.
  • ビジネスユーザーとの議論に基づいてデータのニーズを分析し,必要なデータを抽出する方法を設計する.

スキルと経験 (必須):
  • 高度なコミュニケーション• スキル(プレゼンテーション• スキルを含む)
  • 厳しい環境下での柔軟性と適応力
  • セルフスターターであり,テクノロジーとビジネスの両方に好奇心を持つことができる方
  • BI領域の知識• 経験(5年以上)
  • 様々なデータセットに対して複雑かつ最適化されたSQLクエリを作成した実務経験
  • データウェアハウス,ETLパイプライン,データモデリングに関する高度な経験
  • Microsoft Power BIまたはその他のデータ可視化ツールの使用経験
  • Azureベースのデータソリューションの設計,開発,保守の経験
  • データモデルとフローの設計と実装の経験
  • 優れた分析能力と問題解決能力
  • 日本語での優れたコミュニケーションスキル(ネイティブレベル)
  • ドキュメント作成スキル

スキルと経験 (有れば尚可):
  • 生保領域での業務知識
  • 生保領域でのシステム開発経験

給与:

経験,能力を考慮の上,当社規定により優遇します.

通勤交通費支給(当社規定による)

The Opportunity

Role Summary:

This position will be BI engineer working for the newly formed Japan Data Office team at Manulife Japan. BI engineer in Japan Data Office works closely with various business units to develop BI reports/dashboards to augment business decision and to develop data extraction/pipeline to increase business efficiency. Managing and enhancing local data mart is also this position's responsibility. This position leads to accelerate data democratization in Manulife Japan.

Japan Data Office works closely with the region's ADO team to support and ensure stable operation of Datalake and other data platforms. The Japan Data Office will also assist the Advanced Analytics team and other business units in leveraging data. The team also leads the design of the data architecture and data flow for the development of IT systems for a variety of projects. In the long term, the position will work with business units to establish data governance processes and structures.

Job Description:
  • Work cross-functionally to support multiple key stakeholders and provide insights based on data-driven approach.
  • Work with various business units to formulating business requirements for BI.
  • Identify data set to meet business requirements and build PowerBI reports and dashboard.
  • Design, develop and manage data mart/data lake with data engineer and ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and manage data pipeline and data extraction to meets business needs.
  • Lead to build data foundation to achieve data democratization.
  • Work for Japan Data Office and collaborate regional ADO team to support our data platform and framework.
  • Design data architecture and data flow around data platform.
  • Support and consult various data consumption requirements from business users.
  • Analyze data consumption needs based on discussion with business users, and design the method to extract necessary data.

Skills & Experience (Must Have):
  • Advanced communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Flexibility and adaptability in challenging environment
  • Self-starter and able to have curiosity anything related to both technology and business
  • Overall knowledge/experience in BI / More than 5 years
  • Hands-on experiences in writing complex and optimized SQL queries across different data sets
  • Advanced experiences in data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and data modeling
  • Experiences with Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Experiences with designing, developing, and maintaining Azure-based data solutions
  • Experience of data model and flow design and implementation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Japanese (Native level)
  • Self-explanatory documenting skill

Skills & Experience (Nice to Have):
  • Experience of system developments in life insurance domain.
  • Business knowledge in life insurance domain.

Internal Guidelines about Work from Home:

Hybrid Model, following Manulife's Working Better guidelines.

Over time:

10-30 hours/month.

Salary:

Based on our Work Rules, we will consider your experience, skills and knowledge when we decide the salary.

Commutation allowance and Variable Incentive Bonus are paid based on our

Work Rules.

Working Hours:

Standard Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Include 1 hour break. Flex-time system available)
