Japan Representative (Corporate Banking Tech)

Company Profile

• A European based Corporate Banking Tech platform is now entering the Japanese market, and now seeking its 1st local hire to represent Japan

The Role

• As the 1st local hire in Japan you will start and oversee day to day operations
• Be the first point of contact with existing partners (Banks and large MNCs) and execution of new transactions
• Implement efficient operational processes, including analysis of credit limits, funding, payments, cash flow management etc.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and success of ongoing financing programs
• Partner closely with teams in the US, EU and Singapore
• Key stakeholders/customers are Sales, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Treasury, Payments, Operations

Your Skills

• Prior experience in a customer-facing environment in a Relationship/Account Management or Client Service role
• Preferably prior experience working for a Corporate Bank with expertise in Cash Management and/or Trade/Channel Finance
• Strong customer service mindset
• Solid understanding of credit analysis/risk
• Project management and operational excellence skills
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills; effective communication skills
• Japanese (Native) / English (Fluent level)
