A Global Investment Bank is looking to strengthen it's Corporate & Investment Banking division in Japan with the addition of a qualified Lawyer

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with front office in structuring and executing various transactions.
  • Improve policies and procedures relating to documentation standards for the bank.
  • Be consistently up-to-date on the latest legal and regulatory developments that could influence new product structuring.
  • Advise the Business with client negotiations and documentation.
  • Good opportunity to join a close knit team at a top tier gaishikei financial institution in Japan.

Required skills
  • Qualified lawyer in Japan, US, UK, or Australia/NZ
  • Legal experience within financial services; ideally in M&A, DCM, ECM or Loans
  • Fluent Japanese & English
