Strategy Manager - CSO office, FSI

Company Profile

Leading global financial services group from overseas, with strong foothold in Japan, offering a diverse, relaxed and international corporate culture. Our client is pursuing an exciting strategic redirection phase, aimed at becoming the most customer centric and digitally modern player in its space. Within that context, the company is strengthening their Corporate Strategy Office with the addition of 1 new person (Manager level), that will report to the Head of Strategy and lead dynamic transformation from strategy building to execution, working with local, regional and global stakeholders.

The Role

• Join Corporate Strategy Office and report to Japan's Head of Strategy
• Lead dynamic strategic transformation actions, from building thru execution
• Analyze market information, competitive landscape, customer preferences and technology changes, to help build mid and long-term strategy at the corporate level
• Design and execute cross-functional strategic and commercial initiatives (e.g. new products/solutions, CX, partnerships, organizational reform, etc)
• Monitor relevant strategic KPIs and ensure proper deployment of projects

Your Skills

• 3-7 years of experience in business/strategy consulting or mix of consulting and in-house o Experience with strategy-related projects
• Multi-project experience (PMO or PM), and ability to drive initiatives forwards, dealing with internal and external C-level stakeholders
• Collaborative personality, able to gain consensus internally and externally
• Prior experience in financial services/insurance/fintech (directly or projects) is a plus albeit not mandatory
• Fluent Japanese and business level English
