About the job Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer - Private Banking



For a client, a prominent private bank in Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer to reinforce a small team and enhance its regulatory compliance framework (non-AML).



This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of the bank's compliance policies, manage controls and test frameworks, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards. This opportunity will enable you to join a small, agile, and impactful team where compliance has the space and voice it deserves within the business. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will also be working closely with the CCO and a Senior Director specialising in regulatory compliance.



The Key Responsibilities include Regulatory Compliance Oversight, Policy and Procedure Management, Market Abuse Monitoring, Second-line Controls as well as some Trainings.



The ideal candidate holds a university degree in business management, law, or a related field and has 4 to 8 years of direct regulatory compliance experience in banking or banking consulting in Europe, with strong expertise in MiFID, EMIR, GDPR, and market abuse regulations. The selected candidate will be bilingual in French and English and will demonstrate proficient computer skills and excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities. Naturally a solid knowledge of Luxembourgs financial laws is preferred but EBA exposure could still work.
