Job Description

1. Draft and review legal documents, agreements, and terms & conditions relating to the Bank’s products and services.
2. Manage court orders such as garnishee orders, injunction orders and winding up petition/ orders.
3. Assist in the preparation and review of the Bank’s financing and security documents for both Conventional and Islamic Banking facilities.
4. Provide legal advice and guidance to business units and branches by evaluating the legal risks and providing strategic guidance to safeguard the Bank’s interests.

Requirements

1. An LLB Degree from a recognized university.
2. Admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in legal practice in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal role, preferably in corporate / commercial law.
4. Experience in financial services matters, Islamic banking and litigation is an advantage.
5. Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent drafting and vetting skills.
7. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
8. Good command of English and meticulous attention to detail.
