The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Risk Technology - Transaction Monitoring Team. Joining our organization as a Senior Business Analyst means becoming a key contributor to how we deliver value to our clients and scale our delivery capabilities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead strategic and high-impact initiatives and work closely with leadership, product, and engineering teams.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Risk Technology - Transaction Monitoring Team. Day-to-day responsibilities
- Collect requirements from key stakeholders and identify business needs
- Create and maintain documentation, such as requirements specifications and user stories.
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
- Develop and propose process improvements or workflow changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and end-users.
- Create and present clear, concise reports to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop business solutions that align with requirements.
- Test and validate proposed solutions to ensure they meet defined performance objectives and user needs.
Who are we looking for

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field
- 5+ years of business analyst experience in a payment / financial services environment
- Experience with AML Transaction Monitoring / Fraud detection
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to delivery
- Excellent in writing requirements specifications and user stories
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Oracle SQL basic knowledge would be additional asset
- Experience working with Agile methodology and Sprints using JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint or equivalent would be additional asset
