About the Position

We are looking to hire an Intern for a three-month contract (October to December 2026) to join our growing team in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Underwriting and claims (APAC). In this role you will be responsible mainly for administrative support for the underwriting and claims team with a lot of system interaction.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Setting up the claim's and underwriting referrals to PartnerRe in the system;
• Helping the UW and claims team streamline and document client underwriting and claims guidelines, treaty parameters consistently and methodically and to create standardization and benchmarking ability based;
• Support the team on data analytics as required;
• Assist the team in creating a streamlined document repository on common drive
• Assist the team in creating power point decks for trainings
• Any other project or activity as required by the PartnerRe L&H APAC team

Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who seeks challenge and has a desire to learn about new products, markets and underwriting and claims approaches. You wish to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment with colleagues possessing a wide and varied range of experiences.

In addition, to be an ideal candidate you have the following background, skills and mindset:

• Student with an actuarial/statistical/ finance or science background
• Microsoft Office experience, advanced Excel, analytical and power point skills
• Well-organized, proactive, creative and solution oriented
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken skills are necessary
• Highly motivated, openness for continuous improvement
• Student with an actuarial/statistical/ finance or science background. If completed studies, then undergrad degree as above is preferred
