People Products & AI Automation Lead

Overview Description

We are a growing team looking for a Principal, People Products & AI Automation to join our People department and take our HR ecosystem to the next level. This role can be based in either our Barcelona or Singapore offices. You will own the configuration, evolution, and operational excellence of our global People technology ecosystem. This is a senior individual contributor role sitting at the intersection of HR, advanced analytics, automation, and AI. You are highly proactive, data-savvy, and deeply organized. You will define how our People team operates by building the scalable systems, integrations, and clean data foundations that power every stage of the employee lifecycle. You will partner closely with the People Leadership Team, People Services, PBPs, and IT to turn manual, fragmented processes into seamless automated workflows. While you will drive large-scale strategic projects and lead our intentional AI transformation, you are also fundamentally hands-on and ready to support day-to-day requests to keep the business moving.

The Role / Job

Own the Core Tech Stack: Lead the day-to-day management, optimization, and continuous configuration of our core systems, with a heavy focus on HiBob (HRIS) and Greenhouse (ATS), ensuring full system hygiene and deep integration.

Drive AI & Automation Strategy: Architect and scale the People team's automation and agent infrastructure. Manage the AI budget and pioneer the intentional, compliant use of LLMs within HR workflows.

Architect Data & High-Impact Visualizations: Develop, clean, and maintain People metrics across the full employee lifecycle. Turn complex datasets into, clear, and compelling self-service dashboards for leadership, committees, and the board.

Deliver End-to-End System Integration: Lead custom integrations, system enhancements, and new tool rollouts from requirements gathering and testing through to final adoption.

Act as Internal Product Owner: Translate ambiguous team needs into technical blueprints, manage the systems backlog, and ruthlessly prioritize for business impact.

Eliminate Operational Friction: Sit alongside People Services and PBPs to map their pain points. Proactively eliminate manual, high-effort processes (e.g., onboarding/offboarding, compliance checks, approval chains).

Enforce Strict Data Governance: Establish and maintain world-class data governance standards across all platforms, ensuring flawless data integrity, access controls, and regular audit trails.

Knowledge Required

Deep HR Tech Expertise: 5+ years of experience in HR Technology, HRIS management, and People Operations with deep, hands-on administrative mastery of HiBob (absolute must-have).

Advanced Automation & Integration Skills: Proven track record building robust workflow automations using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier, n8n, Power Automate) alongside direct experience executing custom integrations via REST APIs. (absolute must-have)

Data Savvy & BI Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling, data cleanliness, and BI semantic layers (e.g., Power BI datasets, dbt). You can build both the underlying data model and the final visual report. (absolute must-have)

Practical AI Application: Deep curiosity and practical experience applying AI and LLMs to business processes. You know exactly where AI adds value, where it fails, and how to design "human-in-the-loop" guardrails.

Senior Stakeholder & Product Mindset: Exceptional communication skills. You can translate complex technical frameworks for non-technical leaders, manage change effectively, and think in scalable systems.

Proactive & Execution-Oriented: A self-starter who takes complete ownership. You are organized enough to manage a complex roadmap, yet humble and agile enough to dive into technical execution and daily tickets.
