Our client in the oil & gas sector is currently looking for a 6 months' contract Procurement Executive to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end contracting and procurement process for capital and growth projects, from developing sourcing and contracting strategies through to tendering, contract negotiation, and award.
The Role
Key responsibilities include overseeing supplier pre-qualification and vendor management, ensuring effective contract implementation and compliance with procurement policies, and partnering with project stakeholders to manage contract variations and commercial negotiations. The incumbent will also support the purchase-to-pay process, drive competitive tendering and supplier selection for major procurements, and leverage ERP systems to ensure efficient procurement operations, cost optimisation, and timely project delivery.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in any discipline and has at least 5 years of experience in contracting management, procurement, or a related function. You should possess strong commercial acumen, contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement activities in a fast-paced project environment.
