Digital Workplace Specialist vacancy for our Lausanne based client in the Energy sector.
Your tasks:
- Handle complex incidents escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support, including large-scale system issues and operating system malfunctions.
- Perform root cause analysis using logs, crash dumps and other technical data to identify recurring issues and underlying causes.
- Provide ongoing support for end-user computing services, including on-site assistance where required.
- Support the deployment of automated patches and help maintain device compliance with security and hardening standards.
- Use PowerShell scripting to automate recurring administrative tasks and corrective actions.
- Draft and maintain technical procedures, and share knowledge with Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- At least five years’ professional experience in IT, with a strong focus on digital workplace or end-user computing services in a multinational environment.
- Experience in business systems analysis and operational support.
- Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, Autopilot, Intune, unified endpoint management, Microsoft Defender and virtual desktop infrastructure.
- Good understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles.
- Language skills: English fluent, French or German would be an advantage
