• independently review unusual transactions detected by the IT-based AML monitoring system and analyze their economic background

Your team:
The Swiss Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) Monitoring & Surveillance team plays a key role in protecting the bank against money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions and corruption risks. The team reviews unusual transactions, analyzes their economic background and helps identify potential financial crime risks through effective monitoring and surveillance activities.
Group Compliance and Operational Risk Control "GCORC" provides independent oversight, challenge and control over non-financial risks arising from UBS's business activities. The function helps ensure that compliance, conduct and operational risks are understood, owned and managed within the firm's risk appetite, while supporting effective remediation and strong control frameworks.
GCORC brings together specialist capabilities across Compliance, Operational Risk Control, Conduct & Investigations and Financial Crime Prevention. These teams work closely with business divisions and group functions to apply consistent standards, strengthen controls and respond to a dynamic regulatory and risk environment.
Your expertise:
We're looking for a candidate who:
• is a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months)
• has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date
• has no more than two years of full-time work experience
• has completed their bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Economics, Audit, Finance or Legal
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• is proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and has a strong ability to learn new technology including data visualization and analysis tools
• has excellent German and English skills; French and Italian are beneficial
Start date: 1 September 2027

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long, and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge in banking. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you'll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network.
