Role



A pivotal role within the business-facing HR team, acting as the critical link between the HR Director, HR Business Partners, and the Centres of Expertise. This position is responsible for activating key cyclical HR deliverables into the business lines and ensuring the smooth execution of high-profile HR activities throughout the year, while fostering strong relationships across the organisation.




Responsibilities:

• Execute and deliver key cyclical talent activities across the HR calendar at the business line level, ensuring central outputs are met.


• Identify and mitigate risks and challenges, collaborating with appropriate teams to find solutions.


• Establish local timelines for delivery against central plans and coordinate activities across business lines to maintain progress.


• Support the HR Director in preparing Executive-level briefing papers and summaries.


• Provide data and insights to business-facing HR teams and business lines to facilitate strategic decision-making for key HR activities (e.g., Reward, promotions, talent reviews, succession planning).


• Manage the creation and delivery of business line-specific reporting requirements (e.g., for governance boards, executive committees, partner reports).


• Produce relevant people insight reports from available Management Information (MI), working closely with HR Business Partners to provide meaningful narrative, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.


• Champion inclusion and wellbeing, raising awareness and activating the Inclusion & Wellbeing strategy throughout all people activities.


• Collaborate with the HR Director and HR Business Partners to support business line-specific projects that complement the overall people plan.

Essential Skills:

• Delivery-focused with a customer-centric mindset, prioritising employee experience.


• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to diverse stakeholder groups across different business lines.


• Data-driven, with the ability to interpret data to tell a story, identify trends, and make confident, considered decisions quickly.


• Logical and methodical approach, with meticulous attention to detail while maintaining progress against agreed timelines.


• Adept at breaking down complex information into manageable actions to achieve desired outcomes.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience operating at Manager level with deep working knowledge of HR generalist or HR operations.


• Experience in a highly commercial, fast-paced, complex, and transformative environment, ideally within Financial Services or a regulated sector.


• CIPD qualification (or equivalent).


• Project management experience.
