An opportunity for a skilled candidate at Associate level to join a leading global debt advisory team, covering transactions across the infrastructure spectrum, including energy and power.

The Firm

Our client is a leading, highly-respected name in the financial market, offering unrivalled advisory services across the globe. Working across a variety of sectors, they have a strong focus in infrastructure, and are right at the forefront of the space. They have recently overseen an exciting period of activity, and due to this momentum are looking to expand their infrastructure team by adding to their ranks a top-rated Associate, on the debt advisory side of the team.


The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in the planning, structuring and execution phases of transactions as well as providing advice to clients on financing activity. Your primary role will be working on Debt Advisory mandates, but there will be exposure to M&A transactions as well. As well as a core focus on infrastructure, the role will also cover some mandates in the Energy and Power sectors. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the transaction process, both internally and externally
  • Ensuring all marketing materials, including pitch books, are delivered to specification
  • Working directly with either Directors or Managing Directors, and taking a leading role on all transactions tasked on
  • Reviewing all relevant documentation
  • Supporting the wider team through reviewing, coordinating and covering other’s work as required


The Candidate

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A 2:1 or above degree or equivalent academic qualification from a top institution
  • 3-5 years’ experience gained in a relevant financial services organisation, in the Infrastructure and/or Energy and Power sectors
  • Strong experience working in a Debt Advisory capacity ideally with experience of leading the execution of transactions
  • Outstanding modelling skills, with the ability to build from scratch and demonstrate best practice to junior team members
  • A strong work ethic, able to work across multiple projects at any given time with excellent time management skills
