An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SPV/Fund Operations Oversight Manager to join our client on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting a new business initiative aimed at attracting and investing in SPV vehicles for third-party professional investors. As the SPV/Funds Operations Oversight Manager, you will be instrumental in the establishment and development of a new SPV/funds operations oversight function, working closely with the Head of Operations. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with external private equity fund administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient and compliant administration of SPVs. This will involve overseeing investment transactions, verifying funding requests, analysing and validating data, and maintaining accurate records for critical processes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
To excel in this role, you will possess a strong background in fund operations oversight, specifically in Private Equity and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), acquired through experience in either a Private Equity firm or an SPV/Funds Administration role within a private equity fund administrator.
Your expertise in Private Equity, SPVs, and fund administration processes will be essential in supporting the effective administration of these investment vehicles. Additionally, excellent communication skills will be crucial in managing outsourced providers and ensuring that agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
