Offering exposure across multiple classes of business, the role will see you working closely with underwriting, pricing, data and senior leadership teams to develop analytical capabilities that drive better decision-making and profitability across the portfolio.

The Role

• Lead the development and delivery of portfolio analytics initiatives across a diverse London Market portfolio.
• Design and embed cross-class analytical frameworks, tools and insights that support underwriting performance and portfolio steering.
• Work closely with underwriting and pricing teams to identify opportunities for enhanced decision-making through data and analytics.
• Support the evolution of pricing and portfolio management capabilities, ensuring consistency, scalability and best practice across teams.
• Deliver strategic analyses that help answer key business questions and support executive decision-making.
• Contribute to business planning, portfolio monitoring and performance reporting activities.
• Partner with data, technology and analytics teams to develop innovative solutions and improve access to actionable insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, committees and leadership teams.
• Mentor colleagues and provide leadership across key projects and workstreams.

About You

• Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in portfolio analytics or pricing transformation within the Lloyd's and/or London Market insurance sector.
• Proven ability to deliver analytical solutions that influence commercial decision-making.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to translate complex analysis into practical recommendations.
