Trader Assistant - Front Office - Hedge Fund – 100-150k total comp package – Trader Progression

Supporting a top performing, expanding London investment desk, you will sit with a front office team made up of a CIO, Research Analysts and X2 Traders. The desk are making a dedicated Trading Assistant hire to cope with increased volumes and complexities within their business. There is a separate operations team - this is a pure front office / markets focused TA remit. Given the fund’s expansion plans in Europe, progression options are varied - we are happy to consider candidates looking to step in to a Trader role internally within 2-3yrs time (or an internal TA manager role - the likelihood is that the firm could hire 2-3 further TA’s within that time)

We are looking to hire a candidate with roughly 2-5yrs experience working in either an IB or Hedge Fund TA role. We could also look at an exceptional Hedge Fund Operations Analyst / Middle Office Analyst who is looking for the next step towards front office. You must have a strong grasp of derivatives. You should have an excellent academic record.

The role will pay a 65-75k base salary ideally (my client can be flexible to hire a more senior level candidate), with a 50-100% bonus expectation.
