As an Associate Director within or Corporate Internal Adit and Controls team within Conslting, yo will be responsible for managing an Internal Adit / Controls team in conjnction with Partners & Directors to ensre timely and accrate delivery of complex technical internal adits and internal controls projects at clients' sites in accordance with the firm's Standards.




Yo will make an impact by:



Delivering client work, inclding technical reviews (both advisory and internal adit) bt not restricted to:

Lead a profitable IA / controls team to ensre effective delivery of internal adit, SOX / controls and / or third party assrance services.

Lead and manage agreed client portfolio of internal adit for the service line and regional area.

Approve, and if necessary prepare initial draft client adit strategy and annal adit programme / controls project plans and test plans for each client, spported by a flly costed service delivery proposal, for sbseqent approval by the Director/Partner.

Prepare & approve draft internal adit and internal controls reports prior to client and Director/Partner sign off,

Prepare & approve draft progress papers and reports for client and Adit Committee prior to Director/Partner sign off.

Represent the Firm in adit matters as reqired, inclding attendance at client meetings and Adit Committees, and other forms as deemed appropriate.

Assist as part of a team that prepares tenders and presents these to win work.

Assist in the bilding of the discipline and ensring the team delivers exceptional client service.

Control and manage the delivery of the client programme, to ensre that the work is completed to time and bdget, providing soltions on any isses as appropriate to the Director/Partner.

Ensre the effective planning and tilisation of team members in line with the approved bdget - inclding mapping complex schedling to optimise profitability

Monitor the effectiveness and qality of adit work throgh ndertaking effective senior manager review of the work.

What we are looking for:



We vale diverse experiences and perspectives. Here's what we're looking for in or ideal candidate:

Professionally qalified, e.g. ACA/ACCA/IA or other specialist qalification. Preferable to have acconting qalification.

Experience in relevant Corporate Governance and Reglatory standards pertaining to listed ad large corporate clients (e.g. Corporate Governance Code, Wates Principals, AAF/ISAE. SOX).

Gained the necessary recent and relevant experience within Internal Adit and / or SOX / controls projects. Strong internal adit methodology, technical controls docmentation and control evalation experience.

Effective se of IT inclding excel, PowerPoint, Visio, adit and acconts packages, and nderstanding and application of data analytics.

Experience of delivery domestically and internationally.

Anticipates the impact of key developments within the relevant client sectors to manage overall technical and commercial risk.

Reviews and controls the technical content of the work of others to ensre compliance with the Internal Adit Manal and other Standard Operating Procedres along with relevant reglatory standards e.g. Adit Standards.

Aware of relevant financial targets and constraints, and actively assists senior management in achieving these, keeping Partner/client informed of potential problems inclding actal vs bdget.

Applies knowledge of RSM, markets and core client base, promoting and co-ordinating additional services provided to clients in portfolio.

Converts options into recommendations and resoltions to exceed client expectations where possible - seeks vale billing opportnities and creates fees.

Ensre client data is handled secrely in accordance with the Firm's and client's data protection procedres.

Developing leadership qalities, and known within the Firm and different service lines.

Sales orientated: translates client needs into engagements, demonstrates commerciality in their action, established network of clients internally and externally.
