Portfolio Insights Analyst

As a Barclays Portfolio Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing trends and insights across all US Consumer Bank products. This is an exciting opportunity for you to frame analytics and present them to senior-level leaders in a clear manner. You will play a crucial role in sharing and delivering insights and strategies, which drives initiatives, including high risk account management, portfolio risk analytics, internal forecasting, and opportunities for profitable growth.

What will you be doing?
• Executing, supporting, and managing a suite of portfolio insight reporting while monitoring trends with a focus on proving the "why" behind inconsistencies
• Developing, maintaining, and adjusting segmentations based on a combination of metrics and attributes, seeking to enhance analytics and reporting
• Understanding and explaining in a clear manner the relationship between metrics (spend & balances) and the bottom line impacts when certain events and trends occur
• Working within multiple analytical and data environments including AWS, Tableau and SAS
• Communicating complex analyses in a concise and clear manner, and ensuring effective delivery of business reports to higher-ups
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities for profitable portfolio growth
What we're looking for:
• Four-year college degree is required; quantitative disciplines is preferred; and master's degree preferred
• Understanding and experience with SAS/SQL or other relevant statistical tools
• Prior experience that specifically includes segmentation and dashboard creation
