Corporate Finance is organised through global products and regional client coverage spanning different geographies and industry focused teams. The Investment Banking & Capital Markets division is looking to add an Analyst in the IB Coverage team to their platform. They are seeking candidates with initiative and integrity, strong communication skills, commitment, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Your key responsibilities

• Supporting wider teams in the Coverage effort of key MENA accounts
• Coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of M&A, Leverage Finance and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions with MENA clients.
• Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling
• In both origination and execution projects, taking responsibility to communicate with clients, other advisers and senior investment bankers.
• You will be expected to utilize regional knowledge to guide production of materials presented to clients and assisting Sector and Product bankers on opportunities.
• You will also be responsible for helping to develop and mentor the juniors in the team.

Your skills and experience

• Relevant M&A and Corporate Finance experience across advisory and capital market products
• Proven execution skills, complex deal understanding and structuring capabilities in M&A, Leverage Finance and ECM
• Strong analytical approach combined with creative problem solving abilities
• High levels of initiative and ingenuity, high pro-activity levels and drive
• Effective organisational skills - the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to drive and influence senior, cross-functional and cross-regional deal teams, interfacing with multiple business partners across business lines and regions
• Able to communicate well with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively in teams
• Able to creatively solve problems and to successfully navigate a large, matrix based organisation
