Computershare Communication Services (CCS) helps organisations deliver critical customer communications across both print and digital channels. As an Application Support Analyst, you'll support the applications, servers and automated solutions that underpin these services, ensuring they remain reliable, secure and high performing.

Based in our Bristol office, you'll work closely with developers, infrastructure specialists and service delivery teams, building your technical expertise across application support, server management, change and release processes, disaster recovery activities and technology projects.

A role you will love

As an Application Support Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting business-critical applications and services, investigating issues, monitoring system performance and helping ensure the smooth delivery of client communications.

This role offers far more than day-to-day support. We're looking for someone who wants to develop deep technical expertise and become a trusted Subject Matter Expert across a portfolio of applications. As your knowledge grows, you'll take ownership of systems, contribute to solution design and implementation, and provide technical guidance to both colleagues and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring applications, automated workflows and server environments to maintain performance and availability
• Investigating incidents, performance issues and error messages, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Processing client data files and supporting the delivery of customer communications
• Supporting Windows server environments, software releases, upgrades and change activities
• Working with developers, infrastructure teams and service delivery managers to resolve issues and support new solutions
• Contributing to disaster recovery activities, technical projects, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives

What will you bring to the role?

We're looking for a technically curious and proactive professional who enjoys solving complex problems and wants to build deep expertise in the applications and services they support. You'll have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in developing into a Subject Matter Expert within a collaborative technology team.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Experience in application support, technical support or IT operations environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate incidents and identify root causes
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments, application monitoring and system performance management
• SQL querying skills and an understanding of data processing concepts
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and experience using service management or ticketing tools
• A genuine interest in developing specialist expertise in business-critical applications, alongside exposure to technologies such as PowerShell, IIS, ITIL practices, software deployments, change management or disaster recovery activities
