Salary: Competitive, depending on experience


Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Working Pattern: Office based in Gateshead


Holiday: 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 28 days)

We are continuing to grow and are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Professional to join either our Team Valley office in Gateshead or our Consett office.



This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or newly qualified accountant who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment. We are seeking someone with a minimum of 5 years' accountancy experience and is able to commit to a full-time, office-based role.




What You'll Be Doing



You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-qualityaccounting services and building strong client relationships.



Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of management accounts


• Preparation of year-end corporate accounts


• Reviewing financial information and identifying areas for improvement


• Supporting clients with accounting and software queries


• Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent client service


• Assisting clients in making the most of cloud accounting solutions

What We're Looking For



To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice or similar environment


• ACA/ACCA newly qualified / qualified


• Strong experience preparing management accounts and corporate accounts


• Excellent working knowledge of Xero


• Strong communication and client relationship skills


• A proactive and organised approach to your work


• The ability to work independently and as part of a team


• A commitment to delivering excellent client service
