Job Description

We are looking for a Facility Engineer to support data center stability operations within the FOC team. This role focuses on incident management, risk control, operational quality, monitoring governance, and cross-functional emergency coordination to help ensure stable and reliable operations across assigned data centers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data center operations, strong analytical and coordination skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams to drive incident closure, operational improvement, and stability SLA achievement.

Responsibilities

- Implement and enforce the incident and risk management framework for assigned data centers.

- Take ownership of stability incident intake, classification, handling, escalation, and closure.

- Coordinate cluster teams, on-site facility engineers, operators, and relevant stakeholders to support emergency response, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.

- Develop interim mitigation measures, track permanent corrective actions, and provide timely escalation on major incidents.

- Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams, including GOC, Server, Network, Cluster, and ITOC, to improve emergency response workflows and operational collaboration.

- Oversee the execution quality of daily stability operations, conduct operational quality analysis, and drive continuous improvement in standards and practices.

- Lead post-incident reviews, follow up on corrective actions, organize and track emergency drill plans, and participate in stability inspections.

- Manage FOC alarm configurations and support EMS monitoring quality analysis to improve monitoring effectiveness and system availability.

- Analyze incident trends, operational issues, and recurring root causes, and drive mechanism-level improvements to strengthen overall stability management capability.

- Support assigned data centers in achieving stability SLA targets through effective coordination, risk control, and operational follow-up.

Position Requirement

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in data center operations or related environments.

- Solid understanding of data center system architecture, operational logic, and standard operating procedures.

- Ability to work with relevant teams to resolve common on-site operational issues and support emergency technical response for routine faults.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to support risk governance, change management, maintenance quality improvement, and other stability-related activities.

- Ability to identify operational risks, remain sensitive to execution risks, and escalate issues in a timely manner.

- Capable of executing risk control strategies under an established risk management framework and coordinating resources to drive issue closure.

- Ability to use digital and AI tools to build operational dashboards and reporting templates that improve daily operational efficiency and quality.

- Strong communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is preferred, with proficiency in Chinese considered a strong advantage.
