The Opportunity
Want to make an impact that matters?
So do we. We believe reputation and integrity are critical to the success of both society and our firm.
Are you experienced in the Financial Crime controls space? Are you looking to take your skills to the next level? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, working with colleagues from around the world, to meet our business and client needs? Do you have a personal drive to make an impact that matters?
If that sounds like you, our new role dedicated to lead our Islands and Gibraltar internal Regulatory Compliance Function could be the next step you're looking for. This is your opportunity to work across our business areas to help protect against the ever-increasing threat of financial crime, to both ours, and our sector's, integrity.
Role description
The spectrum of our work is broad. You will be dedicated to Anti-Money Laundering ("AML"), Countering Financing of Terrorism ("CFT") and Countering Proliferation Financing ("CPF") compliance within the Deloitte LLP's Islands and Gibraltar group ("the Group") and supporting the Group's Regulatory Compliance Lead based in Jersey. This is a post holder role and you will act in the MLRO and MLCO across our TCB and Schedule II businesses.
You will coordinate and take the lead on maintaining the AML, CFT and CPF controls across the Group, with the support of other members of the team. The responsibilities will include working with stakeholders to identify and agree any controls enhancements and reporting on progress through to adoption.
You will also work alongside our Financial Crime team in the UK and the Group's MLROs/MLCOs to support the maintenance of relevant controls, including Business Risk Assessments, and the preparation of internal and external reporting, with specific focus on Jersey.
You will achieve this through your own initiatives but also by partnering with key stakeholders, including the Deloitte LLP's Financial Crime Team, leveraging central controls and supporting Regulatory Compliance related projects.
Working for a "Big 4" firm, you will be exposed to a significant variety of clients, service offerings and risks across the financial crime space, with substantial development and learning opportunities for the right candidate.
Location

Hours
Full time/part time, permanent.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include but are not restricted to:
